Dear Thomas,
We were lucky yesterday! Although the beautiful hosta gardens were
severely damaged by about 5 minutes of large hail, there were no
tornado touchdowns or other property damage. We still have some hail
on the deck this morning!
We have decided to close the next two weekends. Could you
please e mail your friends. The good news is that when we cut
our hostas back to the ground they will grow back fast. Hostas are
almost indestructible. Hostas can survive floods, hail, some
drought, and are nearly disease free.
We will be selling plants on the internet in the near future. We
will also be sending you another e mail regarding future plans for
retail sales - including opening next to Love from Minnesota in
Roseville.
Please do not feel sorry for us! In life's challenges this is a
small one. We are making plans to come back strong.
The new web site will be up very soon at www.hostasdirect.com.
It is going to be awesome!
Thanks for your understanding and sorry to disappoint you. I hope
your homes and gardens were not hit by this storm.
Sincerely,
Tom Carlson, President
